Facilities
Park
The park is surrounded by shrubs and trees so it has some shade and some sunny areas.
There is a tree house with a slide, swings, sand pit, a football goal, space to run around and a table tennis table ( please either bring your own bats or we do sell them at reception if needed).
Picnic benches are in the garden area .
Sorry we do not allow dogs in the childrens play area
This is usually shut at 10 pm to keep the excitement of the children down so it doesn’t affect fellow campers.
A couple of evenings in the summer the Perraners a local singing group come to sing some shantie songs . This is a free event although collections are welcome to a local charity of there choice. Dates are usually put on our notice boards or facebook page.
Toilets and showers
There are 2 blocks for the toilets and showers.
One at the bottom of the site near the reception and one in the middle of the site.
The bottom block has separate showers and toilets with extra wash rooms which have electric sockets in.
The top block (In the middle of the site) has showers and toilets in the same block with electric sockets . They also have radiators a for the colder months .
There is a disabled toilet and shower in the block at the top (In the middle of the site)
There are also facilities at the swimming pool.
Both have hot and cold water with the showers being coin operated.
Laundry
The Laundry has 2x washing machines, 2x dryers, 2x sinks for handwashing clothes and ironing board and iron. These are coin operated. Please bring your own detergent.
There is also a freezer for ice packs only ( please bring your own label and bag them so they don’t get mixed up)
Bin Areas
*We have 2 x large bins areas, one at the bottom of the site and one at the top of the site.
*These have separate bins for General and recycling. Dog poo bins and cigarette bins are also found here.
*Disposable BBQ’s can be left on the floor once they have been sprayed with water so there is no risk of fire. ( staff will then dispose of when they are safe)
**Important update as of 17th July 26 at the moment due to the hot dry summer no charcoal or disposable bbq’s are aloud until further notice **
*Please do not dispose of any large items eg tents, gazebos, charcoal or gas bbq’s, matresses ,duvets etc These need to be taken home as can not be collected.
The Herb Garden
- There is a small herb garden by the top toilets for campers to help themselves.
- With Lavender, Rosemary, Mint, Lemon Balm, Thyme, Fennel, Parsley, Coriander, sage, oregano, basil, chives dill, curry plant and majoram
Extras
Phone Charging or power banks can be charged in reception free of charge and are available during office hours
Drinking water is throughout the campsite except for the laundry area please check the stickers
